Woodham Ferrers Swimming Club was formed in February 2005. It is a Club for the community, based at the South Woodham Ferrers Leisure Centre.
Surrounded by water means the club puts a strong emphasis on water safety, particularly for our younger members.
We have members of all ages and abilities swimming for general fitness, competition – open water and triathlon or just for fun.

WFSC Halloween party
We hosted a Halloween party this year to help us fundraise for the club. It was a fun night full of games, laughter and brilliant costumes! A massive thank you to Steve at SM2Events for our DJ set up!
Maldon Festival of Swimming
What a day we had at Witham’s Festival of Swimming event! A huge well done to our swimmers, absolutely brilliant swims with countless PBs, medals and some County qualifying times! Shout out to our first timers to competition, really lovely to see so many of you. We hope you had a great time!
Well done to all the swimmers!
Also well done to Casey K for her 800m freestyle race at Romford. A brilliant swim and she secured her County qualifying time, and Bradley H attended the East Region Short Course Championships with nice swims on his 50 Freestyle and 50 Breaststroke, well done Brad!
