The Rotary Club of South Woodham Ferrers sends sincerest thanks to the Community of SWF and environs for the wonderful response to our Trees of Joy appeal in the lead up to Xmas.

The amazing donations

Trees were placed in Asda and in Holy Trinity Church for the fifth year running, throughout November. We are very grateful to both venues.

With the contributions from the ladies of our Inner wheel, the RotaKids Club, Trinity St. Mary’s CofE Primary School who, learning about the aim of the event wrote to all their parents; set up a tree of their own and added meaningfully to this year’s successful collection of over 300 Toys and Books.

These will be wrapped and distributed in time for Xmas by local charities, MyOtas; the Mega Centre and the School Room, to disadvantaged children to bring some joy where there might otherwise be little.

There will be Joy on the faces of the children. Thank you.
