Following the success of our first ever art trail last year, we’re thrilled to bring it back – bigger and better than before!
This October, 24 local artists will be sharing their works across 20 venues throughout the town. From Saturday 10th to Saturday 17th October inclusive, you’re warmly invited to explore, discover and connect with the creative heart of South Woodham Ferrers.
Whether you’re an art lover, simply curious, or looking for something a little different to do, the trail offers a wonderful opportunity to see original work in a variety of styles and to meet the people who made it.
Before you set off, head to South Woodham Ferrers Library, where maps will be available and you can enjoy an overview of all participating artists to help plan your route. The library will also be hosting five short creative workshops run by trail artists; a fantastic chance to try something new and discover your own creative spark.
Art enriches communities. It starts conversations, opens doors and reminds us of what makes a place special. Please do come and support your local artists this October — we’d love to see you on the trail.
