Supporting Children’s Mental Health: Free Training with Emotionally Healthy Minds

To mark Children’s Mental Health Week, Emotionally Healthy Minds will be running two free online training sessions focused on supporting children with anxiety.

At Emotionally Healthy Minds, based in South Woodham Ferrers, Essex, we have a team of passionate educators and emotion coaches who are dedicated to supporting emotional health and resilience in children, families and schools. As such, everything we do is built around four key strands: supporting children emotionally, supporting children academically, empowering parents and equipping schools and professionals.

We know that many parents see their child struggling but aren’t sure how best to help. Educators also face similar challenges, wanting to support pupils while managing busy classrooms and limited resources. Anxiety can show up in many ways and without the right tools, it can be hard to know where to start. We believe that supporting children starts with supporting the adults around them: when parents and educators feel confident and equipped, children feel less alone and better able to cope with their worries.

Our free training sessions for parents and educators will be practical, compassionate and grounded in real experience from our work with children every day. We’ll share simple tools, helpful language and realistic strategies that can be used immediately at home or in school.

Training sessions:

Monday 9th February 2026
• 12.00pm – Parent training
• 4.30pm – Educator training

If you are a parent, carer, or educator working with children who experience anxiety, we would love for you to join us.
