This festive season, RHS Garden Hyde Hall near Chelmsford invites you to experience the magic of Christmas like never before, with the dazzling return of RHS Glow. From Friday 21 November to Saturday 27 December, the UK’s leading garden charity will transform Hyde Hall into a breathtaking winter spectacle, lighting up the night with enchanting illuminations and heartwarming festive cheer.

Wander through reimagined light trails that celebrate Hyde Hall’s most iconic vistas, where glowing fountains, radiant tree canopies, and beloved garden features are bathed in shimmering colour. Each step reveals a new surprise, turning familiar landscapes into extraordinary winter wonderlands.

This year, families can delight in a brand-new twinkling trail, featuring the stunning Robinson Garden and the awe-inspiring Mycelium installation – a glowing network of 2,500 fibres inspired by the hidden beauty of fungi beneath our feet. Designed by the talented Hyde Hall garden team, the trail also showcases living willow sculptures in the Winter Garden, illuminated in vibrant hues that stir the imagination.

After your journey through the lights, warm up with a cup of mulled wine or cider, indulge in festive treats from lakeside cabins, and browse seasonal gifts in the Christmas shop – perfect for finding something special for loved ones.

Tickets for RHS Glow must be booked in advance, and early booking is strongly recommended to secure your preferred date and time. Prices vary, with exclusive discounts for RHS members.

Prices for RHS members start at £10 for adults and £5.25 for children. Non-member prices start from £17.25 for adults and £9.25 for children. Under-fives go free.
