Multiple Roles at Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome

Accredited museum and award winning visitor attraction, Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome is a charity and the largest surviving Great War aerodrome in Europe.

They are seeking volunteers for lots of different roles, including Gallery Stewards and Tour Guides, Research & Collections Volunteers, and gardeners and maintenance crew.

Term Time Toddler Group Volunteers – Urgently Needed – South Woodham Ferrers Town Council

We are looking for dedicated individuals to join us in delivering this volunteer led Toddler group to the community. The group runs every term time on a Monday 9.30am -11.30am.

If you are able to help set up the hall and clear away after the group we want to hear from you ! You can stay and help in the kitchen with refreshments if you would like to .

The Coroners’ Courts Support Service  is a charity whose trained volunteers give emotional and practical support to bereaved families and other witnesses attending an inquest.

We need volunteers to provide emotional support and practical help to bereaved families, witnesses and others attending Inquests at Coroners’ Court.

Police Cadet Leaders at Essex Police

Can you encourage the spirit of adventure and good citizenship to young people?

Essex Police need volunteers to join as Cadet Leaders and assist with their weekly evening clubs. No previous Policing or youth experience is required, just enthusiasm, commitment, and a desire to make a difference. Training and support will be given.

Do you have a love of Books?  Can you help Hylands House by Volunteering in their Bookshop?

Puppy & Dog Socialiser – Medical Detection Dogs

We are looking for caring and committed homes that can support our puppies and young dogs during their socialising and training journeys.

We provide food and equipment for the young dogs and cover all veterinary costs. You will have 1:1 support from your local Socialiser Trainer and Volunteer Coordinator.

Community Speed Watch volunteer

Community Speed Watch Groups consist of volunteers from their local community, who all share the same concerns about speeding through their local villages. These volunteers are from all walks of life, with a variety of skill sets and knowledge, who give up their free time to assist with reducing the number of fatalities and serious injuries on our roads.
