A hate crime is a crime committed against someone because of their disability, transgender-identity, race, religion or belief, or sexual orientation.

Hate crimes can include:

  • verbal abuse
  • harassment or threatening behaviour, including online
  • assault
  • robbery
  • damage to property
  • inciting others to commit hate crimes
  • offensive leaflets, posters or graffiti

You should report a hate crime to the police. However, if you are uncomfortable with that, you can also report it ON THE LINK BELOW.
