Join us at the Rotary Club of South Woodham, where we are dedicated to uplifting our local community through meaningful fundraising and impactful activities. But now, more than ever, we need your support. Why?
As time moves forward we need the next generation to join us. We welcome men and women with fresh ideas, from all walks of life and diverse backgrounds, cultures and religions.
Your input can help reshape our future and enhance our outreach to those who need us most. It may seem like everyone is too busy these days, but we are only asking for a maximum of three evenings per month. During these gatherings, you can enjoy good food and drink while engaging in friendly discussions about how we can better serve our community.
Our accomplishments speak for themselves: bringing joy to children during the festive season with our Santa Sleigh, collecting toys and books through our Trees of Joy initiative for those less fortunate, and successfully raising funds for The Brain Tumour Trust and other local organisations through our Swimarathon. Our Club makes a tangible difference, and you can be a part of this impactful work!
If you have children or grandchildren, you are particularly well-suited to join us—your experiences and perspectives are invaluable. We mentor a RotaKids Club in two primary schools.
So, South Woodham Ferrers, we cordially invite both men and women to become members and discover what we’re about at the Rettendon Lodge, Tuesday evening at 7:30 PM.
