Potting the Crocus corms

The SWF Rotary Club provided Crocus corms, compost and pots for some eighty young children to plant at Trinity St. Mary’s C of E Primary School, in continuing recognition of Rotary’s dedication to end polio for ever.

The children understood the significance of the purple colour of crocuses to match the dye stained on the finger of children who had been inoculated throughout the world, as part of our continuing campaign which is close to seeing successful eradication of this disease.

Fortunately some of the RotaKids club at TSM (and with our thanks the teachers) helped our team with the happy mayhem that ensued. High fives was a messy business.
