At our first meeting in the New Year, we were very pleased to welcome Rotary District 1240 Governor, Anne Moriarty and her husband Stephen.
As a Governor and official representative of Rotary International in the region, her mission is to lead clubs and inspire members which she was able to do in an informative and lighthearted manner. Anne spoke about her journey with Rotary and covered the important issues of attracting new members to clubs and the great progress on the near eradication of Polio throughout the world in which Rotary has played such an important role.
She presented to our President, Roger Restell a pennant with the theme “ The Magic of Rotary”. Our thanks to Anne and Steve.
