Members of our Club were pleased that three members of the Rotary Club of Maldon could join us for a Pitch & Putt evening, followed by a meal at The Anchor pub, Runsell Green.

In addition to the fellowship, our Club received a cheque from them, presented (on the right) by their president Brian Farrington to our president, Derek Hutchinson, for South Woodham Ferrers Rotary Club’s help at the traditional “Maldon Firework” evening. Our sincere thanks.

We have been pleased to help over a number of years with the crowd control at such an impressive event, attended by thousands of people.
