Last Saturday, the Bradwell Waterside Airshow, hosted by the Green Man Inn, was held at Bradwell-on-Sea. It was the third year the airshow had taken place.
We attended last year, and it was a fantastic event with plenty of free parking, but donations were welcome.

Stampe Display Team
We arrived just as the first air display began, featuring the Stampe Team, a group of four biplanes. Their performance was brilliant, drawing crowds to the banks of Bradwell Marina for a great view of the acrobatic planes and photo opportunities.

There were hourly intervals between each display and the one display everyone were eagerly anticipating: the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, which included a Lancaster Bomber. Unfortunately, like many events, this one was weather-dependent, and it was cancelled at the last minute due to strong winds. However, there were still plenty of other activities to enjoy, including a display of military vehicles, a barbecue, an outside bar, an ice cream van, On the Wall Distillery, Ian Ward Pargeting, Mr. Churchill, and more.
A tremendous amount of hard work goes into planning events like these. Although we didn’t get to see all the displays, what we did see was well worth the visit, so make sure you put this in your diaries for next year.
